Snow in Macon

It's not often that we get to enjoy some snow in Macon. 

When it gets as cold as it has been these last few days of January, you might as well get some snow.  We got our share.

Everything was covered in white and it was beautiful. 

The roof of our neighbor across the street was fully covered in white.  I took this picture when the snow has already started melting the next day.

This is the time when we get to appreciate our cozy sunroom. 

I don't think I'd like to live in an area where it snows a lot throughout the winter, but having some snow now and then is certainly fun.

A road trip to Missouri

We drove from Macon to The Osange Beach area in Missouri for a week of vacation. 

Our view from the rented condo was beautiful as it faced the lake.

This picture is of another day. Now, we see what we got to enjoy everyday while we were there. 

We went to Saint Louis one day and appreciated this famous landmark. 

The surrounding areas were unique. Lake of Ozarks State Parks offered a lot to appreciate.
