Camping with Don at F. D. R. State Park

Don joined us for a nice camping trip at F D Roosevelt State Park. So nice to have him around. Here he is trying to ride his bicycle backward. He managed to do it too!
What is happening? More and more birds are now coming to visit us at the camp sites. We enjoyed many visitors including Eastern Phoebes, Wood Peewees, Northern Cardinals and Tufted Titmice (of course), and our all-time favorite, the Pileated Woodpecker. We were happy to share the Pileated with Don. We saw the Pileated right from our camp site in the trees. (The bird was in the trees, not us).
Our first picture together camping.
A walk in the woods!

Ca a l'air joli et reposant comme endroit; c'est mieux que Atsintsin :)

It's beautiful. It makes me want to go camping. Maybe I will be able to convince my husband.
